Seven months later, in June of 2008, Del Baggio ran into legal problems that resulted in a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing. It is alleged Del Baggio used fraudulent means to acquire the loans to buy the team. Regardless the outcome of the investigation, any chance of Del Baggio moving the team to KC is now gone.
