The Indians returned to the MLB Playoffs in 2007 after taking 1st place in the regular season with a record of 96-76. The Indians shocked baseball by knocking off the New York Yankees in the Divisional Series, but lost the ALCS in a tough 7 game series to the Boston Red Sox. 2008 saw the club fall to .500, out of the playoffs for the 98th time in its 108 season history.
